CONNECTION

The single most important concept you need to understand is that you have to take charge of your Connection.  First you have to establish and nurture your Connection to God and Spirit, and then also to those around you.  Everyday awareness will emphasize that you are separate, so you will have to take action to insure you are Connected.  As you become Connected, your ego will respond.  Thus managing your Connection will require a day-by-day, and minute-by-minute awareness.

The reality of the Spirit and Energy is scientific.  There is no such thing as matter, and this world as it appears is an illusion.  You can explore the scientific aspect of our Connection in the "It is all Energy" entry.

The greatest facade we deal with everyday is that we are separate from everyone and everything else.  We have bought into the idea that we are separate.  We develop an ego which we then must feed and protect.  Your ego will be your greatest enemy as you strive to re-connect your Spirit.  Your ego does not want to give up control and will fight you every step of the way.

Consider the three keys to a Connected Life which we will explore further.

The first key is getting on the train.  If you choose to go through life as a passenger on a train, giving up control, you have taken the first step to truly being Connected.

The second key is conquering your ego.  This is a huge challenge and will be a process you will go through once you decide to embrace cgod3.

The third key is staying immersed in your Connection through daily activities.  You must keep your Connection open and allow the Spirit to flow into and through you.

How do I get on the train?

Someone Who Is Really Connected!

A 70-year-old man goes to the doctor for a physical. The doctor runs some tests and says to the man, ''Well, everything seems to be in top condition physically, but what about mentally? How is your connection with God?''

And the man says, ''Oh me and God? We're tight. We have a real bond, he's good to me. Every night when I have to get up to go to the bathroom, he turns on the light for me, and then, when I leave, he turns it back off.'' Well, upon hearing this the doctor was astonished. He called the man's wife and said, ''I'd like to speak to you about your husband's connection with God. He claims that every night when he needs to use the restroom, God turns on the light for him and turns it off for him again when he leaves. Is this true?''

And she says, ''To think I I thought something was wrong with the refrigerator!''
